The dormakaba VIO-DT 1 and VIO-DT 2 are combined activation and safety sensors designed for automatic sliding doors. The sensors integrate a 24 GHz microwave radar for door activation with an Active Infrared (AIR) safety system that monitors the door threshold and ensures maximum user protection.

The VIO-DT 1 is designed for unidirectional motion detection, reducing unnecessary door activations and improving energy efficiency. The VIO-DT 2 provides bidirectional motion detection, making it ideal for entrances with high pedestrian traffic.

Compliant with EN 16005, the VIO-DT series ensures reliable, safe and efficient operation of automatic sliding door systems in commercial, healthcare and public buildings.
